The sulfates do make this shampoo more effective, but you need to be careful with it if you don’t know whether you are allergic to sulfates or not. But if you’ve had adverse reactions to sulfate shampoos in the past, we’d advise you to look for another shampoo. No, this shampoo isn’t specifically designed for dyed hair, albeit it is color-safe. The red color of the bottles is just a design choice. However, sodium laureth sulfate does make the Bed Head shampoo an exceptionally effective product. The Bed Head shampoo, aside from that, contains strong conditioning and moisturizing ingredients that are aimed at the improvement of hair condition.

This product may actually make oily hair worse since it makes hair oily for a short bit. If you have oily hair, look for lower-level Bed Head products. The last benefit of this product that we would like to mention is its pleasant and sweet Papaya Chill Pill fragrance, which seems to be the fragrance of a bath ball of the same name.
