Theragun Pro vs Elite vs Prime vs Mini - Massage Gun Advice Theragun Pro vs Elite vs Prime vs Mini - Massage Gun Advice

The Pro now comes with convenient USB charging, a solution often seen in mini massage gunsbut rarely in full-size devices. From now on, you can use a power bank to charge the 2500 mAh battery on the go – awesome. If you are looking for performance, gym goers, the Prime is the better option. It’s bigger than the Mini but smaller than the Elite. Also, it has a better amplitude and higher stall force. October 20, 2022 Article updated with information about Theragun Pro G5, following the hands-on review we’ve done. (Author: Luke) From an ergonomic standpoint, after handling all the models, we can confidently say it’s the best Theragun, and it’s not just due to the multiple grip handle.. The famous Theragun multiple grip handle. We conducted a side-by-side comparison test between the Bob and Brad D6 Pro and the new Theragun Pro G5, using both of them for consecutive days.

Just like the Pro, the Achedaway Pro has a 16mm amplitude which guarantees a deep tissue percussive therapy massage. Theragun Elite on the other hand felt somewhat more reliable in our hands. With 40lbs. of stall force, it’s not the best, but the long stroke length is finally justified. While not the best, the ample stroke length finally feels justified. An additional 10 lbs. of pressure can make a significant difference in the results when compared to the Theragun Prime. In our Elite review we still decry the Elite’s stall force given its hefty price. However, it’s still slightly harder to stall compared to the Prime. Please note that the writer of this article has not tried these products. All information presented is purely research-based and correct at the time of publication. Yes, the 16mm stroke length is impressive, but sometimes it may be more beneficial to compromise a little on head length in favor of additional motor power. Several devices have adopted this approach to great effect, such as the Ekrin B37 and B37s. Because the Pro also has the long 16mm amplitude, the great stall force means you can have a true deep tissue massage. Unlike its two siblings (Prime and Elite), the Pro can guarantee a deep percussive therapy even to a heavily built bodybuilder or athlete.

With five interchangeable head attachment compared to four, the Theragun Elite offers you a bit more possibilities to personalize the massage experience to your exact needs and the muscle group you are about to target next:Only the Elite and Pro have a force meter that displays on their OLED screens. The meter shows by a simplified bar scale how much force is being applied to the body. All three full-sized Theraguns are similar apart from minor tweaks here and there – like the build materials. In case you’re not as impressed with the Theraguns as we were during our testing, we recommend exploring the alternative options we’ve personally tested and listed above.

This is often more than enough stall force to get the job done without slowing down percussions upon pressing to a body. There are other devices with more than 60lbs. stall force but we don’t think you’ll ever need more than that. Cone: Designed for trigger points, focused muscle treatment, and small muscle areas, such as the wrists and feet. We were excited and a bit overwhelmed by the thrill of having this top-of-the-shelf device. Teenagers probably get the same feeling when they lay their hands on a new PS5. You’d think, as experts, such thrills wouldn’t carry us away, but we have to admit, we felt something! Design-wise, it is a different concept but also proves to be ergonomic, thanks to the angled handle. While not much seems to have changed from the outside, the product engineers at the Los Angeles, California-based company made several updates to the new version. But do those changes make the Theragun Elite the best choice for your needs, or should you opt for the Theragun G3 instead? It revs up to 3200 percussions per minute, 25% or 800 hits more than the Pro. It does have adaptive speeds, pressure sensor and comes with six attachments that are more varied than what the Pro comes with – the flat head and the fork attachments are available. When we tested the decibels, the Pro gave us 66dB at the highest speed, 8 decibels less than the 4 th generation Pro, so it’s quieter indeed. This is how we measure noise levels of the 5th generation Theragun PRO. We love that Therabody didn’t overstate the above range, as some brands tend to do. We verified the actual percussions on each gear with a high-precision laser tachometer, and the Pro turned out very accurate to the specs (both the new model and predecessor). The Pro has a percussion range of 1750-2400rpm. If the high cost of the Pro sounds like a deal breaker for you, but you still need a stable Theragun for your massage, the Elite is a good option to consider. It doesn’t sacrifice so much on power and it’s also quieter than the Pro if you like a peace of mind. The Prime comes with 4 – dampener, ball, thumb and cone. The Elite has 5 attachments – same as Prime, plus the wedge head. The new Pro comes with 6 attachments – the two others are supersoft and the brand new micropoint (replaces cone). PRO
