About this deal

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley.

Each part is divided into different sections dealing with different topics based on a single theme. Each part starts with a detailed introduction on the topic along with the poet sharing his own experiences. With so much sharing of design and components is looking at "cars" an appropriate means of analysis? Or should we look at Platforms, Engines, and Transmissions - as separate items? What is it about the "SEAT Exeo" (for example) that makes it "unreliable". Is it the platform ("chassis") - in which case do similar VAG models share problems? Or is it the Engine - which one and again are those problems unique to that engine mounted across the VAG group? Same questions with Transmissions. Or is it something to do with the specific combination - such as the quality of workmanship in a specific assembly plant?PDF / EPUB File Name: I_Was_Never_Broken_-_Sara_Sheehan.pdf, I_Was_Never_Broken_-_Sara_Sheehan.epub I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

It's a powerful memoir that is both relatable and inspiring. The result is a poignant and emotional that is sure to resonate with readers. I was looking for that too. At least, to know where my car stands in the group. Perhaps, that part will be for sale. This book is a book of poems broken up into four different sections within the book and each section has information from the poet about the forthcoming poetry, his experiences etc and is then followed by poems. It must be that hideous monster preying on people.' With that thought in her mind, she brought a very sharp knife with her." This poetry book was quite literally an emotional rollercoaster. But it was close to home, comforting, healing and reassuring.

I really liked this book! Jeff's life experience and wisdom shines through his words. I really appreciated how raw and vulnerable his poetry is. This is a book meant to be read slowly. I tried to meditate on each poem, and found some very helpful to just sit and reflect and breath and be present and alive while reading. There are so many beautiful, uplifting individual lines that I've highlighted. I think a lot about my hands. For me it’s an image that’s very specific. We used to cut the hay-fields. There was a lot of hay, and we’d be on the tractor for weeks in a row every day, running around in circles. And I would just stare at my hands. I used to write a lot of poetry about hands. Since I was pretty young, I wondered, ‘What will my hands be doing? Will they hold kids?” I had no idea they’d play guitar. I started to believe that if I watch what my hands do, I’d have a better idea of what I was thinking, consciously or subconsciously. Yes, I have read poems before that talk about being in the present. That brush depression and not wanting to live. That talk about love. Still, I never read poems like these. I felt very overwhelmed reading the book and I read some parts multiple times before moving on as they truly touched something deep inside of me and forced me to recognize I needed some healing.
