Guest stars: Mikey Kelley as Higgins, Lou Diamond Phillips as Victor Delgado, Myrna Velasco as Carla Delgado Elena meets up with her sister and grandparents and confirms Mateo's report as accurate. Isabel informs her they need her help to build their float. Elena goes to get ready. She then starts singing about how happy she is that Avalor is finally safe. Her joy activates her magic in a way that makes her joy infectious and brings the model of Isabel's float to life. The animated float names herself Flo. Elena goes to Mateo and Zuzo about this and they inform her that her new magic is tied to her emotions. Elena and Flo arrive at the float area. Meanwhile, Dona Paloma arrives with her costumes and voices ideas that Naomi, Gabe, and Marlena all agree are terrible. Suddenly, a bunch of stuff goes missing and thanks to Elena awakening her Scepter's ability for Truth Vision, Flo is discovered to be the perp.

As with all Disney Junior TV programming, Elena of Avalor stories will be guided by an established curriculum that nurtures multiple areas of child development: physical, emotional, social, and cognitive; thinking and creative skills, as well as moral and ethical development. Created for kids age 2-7 and their families, the stories are designed to communicate positive messages and life lessons that apply to young children about leadership, resilience, diversity, compassion, and the importance of family and family traditions. Migs, Luna, and Skylar ( Chris Parnell, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Carlos Alazraqui) - three magical flying creatures of a mix of jaguar and macaw called Jaquins, who support Elena as she learns how to rule her kingdom.

The episode is titled after a magic artifact similar to the Sofia the First episode " The Amulet of Avalor".

Elena questions Zuzo about Quita Moz's prophecy and he tells her to just focus on her coronation. Elena heads off for the dining room. Francisco intercepts her and takes her to the Grand Council Chamber. Once there, she finds that her family, her friends, and the Grand Council have thrown her a surprise party. Elena tells them she is still going to ask them for advice when she needs it. Everyone then sets off to get everything ready for the coronation including welcoming her royal friends from other kingdoms to Avalor. Elena, while celebrating Dia des los Muertos, helps two siblings keep their restaurant and reconnect with their long-lost grandmother. Guest stars: Tovah Feldshuh as Grandma Miriam, Jamie-Lynn Sigler as Princess Rebeca, Julian Zane as Prince Ari Elena and another princess, Valentina, become competitive as she tries to improve relations with another country.
