About this deal

Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream provides long-lasting moisture for fragile skin, whilst forming a barrier to protect skin from bodily fluids which cause Incontinence Associated Dermatitis. The barrier cream protects both in-tact skin and skin which is at risk or injured, and is also an effective moisturiser for severely dry skin. The Cavilon barrier cream formula is highly concentrated, and only a pea-sized amount will be enough to treat the skin - If too much has been used, the skin will feel oily. The barrier cream is long-lasting and wash resistant, so does not need to be reapplied after every wash. How should I remove Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film? There is no need to remove – it will wear off naturally. If removal is required, the application and immediate removal of an adhesive tape, such as 3M™ Micropore™ Surgical Tape, will remove the film. Standard medical adhesive removers may also be used. When should you not use barrier cream?

Keep a list of all your drugs (prescription, natural products, vitamins, OTC) with you. Give this list to your doctor. Talk with the doctor before starting any new drug, including prescription or OTC, natural products, or vitamins.

Normally, it should be re-applied every 48 to 72 hours. However, if there is severe incontinence, re-apply every fourth wash. If there is high wound exudate every 24 hours. Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream is a barrier cream for intact and at risk skin. How does Cavilon spray work? Many times Cavilon Durable Barrier (dimethicone (topical products)) is used on an as needed basis. Do not use more often than told by the doctor.

Some products may worsen acne. If your skin is prone to acne breakouts, look for the word "non-comedogenic" (will not clog pores) on the label. Some products may stain/discolor clothing. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details.script>
