About this deal

I carry it round in one of those photographic cases with the diced foam - works well and gives plenty of protection.

In this way, consumers give each other guidance and give us the opportunity to continuously improve. Premium ultra-low noise analog mixer with optional battery operation,2 state-of-the-art XENYX Mic Preamps comparable to stand-alone boutique preamps,Neo-classic ''British'' 3-band EQs for warm and musical sound. This mixer can run on battery power using 9v batteries for remote operation but I haven't used this feature. I have come to the same conclusion as you, the phantom must be a step up device, on battery it uses three 9v PP3 batteries, two run the mixer and one for the Phantom, and I agree keeping the voltage low-ish would help save battery power, but that’s no god if it can’t drive the mics, it is very rare I’d need battery power, but it does happen, my daughter got her first degree in music and I love to hear her, her second in the medical world as music rarely pays the bills, but a few weeks back she came across a piano in the middle of a field of sun flowers and of course could not leave it, the piano was in a terrible state as it had rained all night! Sweetwater's Sales Engineers are regarded as the most experienced and knowledgeable professionals in the music industry, with extensive music backgrounds and intense training on the latest products and technologies.

So happy with the rig that I'm adding a second Bose for a truly portable, versatile and powerful PA. a Studer / Revox 6 channel jobbie that is supposed to have super sweet preamps and all types of direct outputs, slate ability, etc. Their products are made in their own MUSIC Group factory using state-of-the-art automation, enhanced production workflows and quality assurance labs with the most sophisticated test equipment available in the world. A gazillion uses for this type of mixer, especially with the quality channel faders and EQ,stereo channel in,etc.

No worries, the XENYX preamps sound as good as whatever Behringer had in the older MXB1002 and all the unique features to the original were kept. For this purpose, each track has a monitor send control, which can be used to regulate the proportion of the monitor signal via the line output. When DJing with my laptop and presenting karaoke, I have enough inputs that most other cheap boards leave out. If you have a digital, in the box recording set-up, this is an excellent analog choice to add some warmth to digital tracks without adding trashy noise. To be honest I don't know what advantages a ball-tipped jack might or might not have over a conical-tipped jack. Hire this portable battery sound mixer when you need to connect several audio sources for a tourguide transmitter or portable speakers.

Yes, it has a phantom button and it will, sort of, provide power - at less than half of the typical voltage needed. Due to the stereo architecture, the most logical point after that is right after the 2x1 mono summing resistors and right before the monitor send pot. The 1002B has a convenient 9 V battery capability allowing use in remote locations – where the nearest power outlet may be many miles away! The British consoles of the 1960s and ‘70s changed the sound of rock and roll—without them the British Invasion might not have happened. The main difference between this 2001B and most if not all other Behringer mixers is it can be battery powered from it's internal batteries, -it works well on battery too!The only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating is that the battery compartment is only accessible with a screw driver.

The British consoles of the 1960s and '70s changed the sound of rock and roll - without them the British Invasion might not have happened. The components that I purchased for the DO circuits haven't arrived yet and not sure if I'm going to have enough time to do all the necessary soldering to be ready for the feature's start.I found the Behringer 1002B and the Peavy RQ200 (which is apparently the design that Behringer was heavily "inspired" by. If you didn't need the monitor send, sure, it would provide a nice way to send a pseudo direct signal for one of the channels.
