About this deal

Having replaced my 3007450 pump with the replacement 3007811 pump, where do I fit the by-pass screw?

NOTE:Unfortunately, Siemens are no longer producing these control boxes. As the affected burners are likely to be pre 1996 CE certification (20 or more years old!) Riello would recommend the complete replacement of the burner including the obsolescent control box to bring them in line with current standards. This was replaced by RMG 508 SE GB control box; code 3001146. A direct plug in replacement, no wiring modifications required. If the pump is converted to single pipe with only one flexible oil line fitted the bypas screw MUST be removed.

This is replaced by the RMG 509 SE control box; code 3001139. A direct plug in replacement, no wiring modifications required. This is replaced by the RMG 508 SE control box; code 3001138. A direct plug in replacement, no wiring modifications required. RL and RS 44 are available in 1 phase or 3 phase electrical supply (required phase must be specified.) Photocell, faulty (or seeing light.) To test disconnect the photocell from the control box. Attempt a start sequence. If the burner lights (after 12 secs) and goes out, change photocell. Control box. If the above three items are satisfactory then consider the control box may be at fault (no tests are available for the control box.)

No, all gas valves are provided in the closed position so there is no tension on internal springs. All gas valves should require to be pre-set for adjusting for first firing. Standard burners are only suitable for Hi/Lo operation on the oil side and fully modulating on the gas - but not fully modulating on both fuels. Newer 'Electronic Cam'burners may be fully modulating on both fuels. Please enquire for further details. No, all our burners require setting up by an engineer to suit the invidivual boiler it is attached to. Even if the correct size oil nozzle is fitted the burner will still require to be adjusted for the correct emmissions setting. Yesterday I had the burner out to see what was going on, it fired up when switching on and off for about eight times, after that, there was only a spark, no oil mist from the nozzle, it fired up once after this then no mist again. I left it for a few hours then when I switched it on I had a flame straight away but I'm not expecting it to last?
